Happy Valentine's Day,
Good Morning, thank you for visiting my blog and welcome to Patricia my new follower, it is lovely to see you here :).
Just popped in quick to show you a Valentine's Card I made for my husband last night. I saw Pontura cards on Pinterest and fell in love with them, Nellie Snellen makes them and they are all reduced on her shop. I ordered them on Sunday from the Netherlands, they shipped on Monday and were with me by Wednesday that is really quick. I bought a few different packs, wedding dress, baby pram, twin hearts and ladies hat.
I also bought the small Floral punch small set FLP027 rose flower, I already had the other small tonic punch flower, leaves and heart punch.
There is purple card behind the net and then matted onto pearl card.
These are the words on the inside, I cannot claim they are my own but they are how I feel... ahhh.....
Hope you like my card and that you all have a lovely day and weekend.

Chocolate Valentine Card
Happy Monday,
Thank you all for visiting my blog it is lovely to get such a warm welcome back :), and welcome to Hazel my newest follower (waving madly).
Start of another week and I am off to walk Rosie dog and then we are off to work, did I ever mention that Rosie comes to work with me, she sits under my desk and hardly ever stirs, she is such a good dog. Before I go I would like to show you my husband's valentine card (don't worry he doesn't visit my blog so he will not see it before Friday).
This is a large box card about 8 x 9 inches and I made it about as fancy as I could get away with for a man and not look too over the top - I used some digi paper which I have had for ages from Pink Petticoat - For Him - I used Cheery Lynn heart die, and two Memory Box die for the hearts at the top and the row of hearts at the bottom. There is a secret message in the Magnolia tag at the top.
When opened it reveals a Thornton's Chocolate heart - if anyone has seen these chocolate hearts you will realise how big this card is. I made a box to hold the box which the chocolate comes in and decorated similar to the front - card is kept closed by a couple tiny magnets which I bought off ebay, they are really very, very strong but when sandwiched between card and paper they are just right for keeping boxes closed.
Hope you like my card and I hope David likes it too come Friday - he is taking me out for a scrummy meal and a bottle of my favourite drink (Prosecco), aren't I lucky :).
Hope you are all well and have a great Monday.

I've been a bad girl... but it was fun
Happy Friday evening everyone,
I have been a bad girl today, but I enjoyed it so much... the Creative Stiches and HobbyCraft show came to Event City next to the Trafford Centre, it comes twice a year and it is the only show I go to, so I tend to make the most of it - I made too much of this year but in my defense I didn't buy anything last year as I wasn't crafting. I do feel bad though because I have already spent quite a bit on new Grand Calibur and Spellbinders dies which had just came out and I had to have.
Anyway thought you might like to see my stash.
This is the bling and a couple of stamps - most of the blink was only £1.00 each.
This was the paper and pads, the pads were all reduced the Christmas pad is 12" and was only £6.99, the others are all 8" pads and they too were reduced to £4.99 or less. I also got some A4 dotted and striped card and some pearl 160 gms paper for flowers. I watched a great flower tutorial from a lady using Britannia Dies, she used this paper - I was very tempted to buy her flower dies, but I already have Spellbinders Rose Creations and they are quite similar. I did buy the paper though.
these were the tools and dies which I bought - top right hand corner is a Tonic Flower tool kit, it is great I used it when I got home with the pearl paper and I actually made a rose which looked like a rose, a first for me. I bought the right (or was it left) handed flourish - I already have the original one and I wanted to get the opposite side one. I already have the lower case of the Memory Box letters so now I have the complete set.
Last but not least I bought one of those ribbon thingies, I am sure you must have seen them at shows before, I spent an hour when I got home make ribbon bows and flowers ready to put on presents.
I am glad to be sat down now with my feet up and a glass of wine :).
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Hugs

Chocolate Gift Card for Becky
Happy Wednesday,
Hope you are all well and keeping warm. I am looking forward to the end of this week as the HobbyCraft show comes to our town at Event City which is next to the Trafford Centre in Manchester and I am going on Friday whoop, whoop :). This shows comes twice a year and I normally go and stock up on card and other goodies, I have a list of things I am hoping to buy and I am looking forward to seeing the demonstrations too :).
Anyway on to my project which is for my Great Niece Becky. I had no idea what to get her and I always think giving just money is a bit lame so I tend to make these type of gift holders.
The digi paper is from Cuddly Buddly, ribbon is from Costco, flowers are Joy Craft with a clear gem which I coloured with my Copics to match and butterfly is Memory Box. The letters were cut with my CraftRobo and raised with foam pads.
Once opened it contains a giant block of Galaxy chocolate and a little pocket which holds a gift card or money - in this case it is money - the words I cut with my CraftRobo using Sweeheart font (one of my favourites) - my CraftRobo does not cut glitter card so after cutting out with normal card I used spray adhesive and pink glitter.
Hope you like my gift card as much as Becky did.
I would like to enter my gift card into the following challenges

Dr Who Tardis
Good Morning
Thank you all so much for the lovely welcome back - I have enjoyed visiting your blogs and getting my creative juices going again. I have actually made quite a few cards so just need to photograph and get them on my blog. Still not done any colouring yet - but I will get round to it.
Thought you might like to see my card I made for my step son's birthday which is today, he is a massive Dr Who fan - he even had a Dr Who house warming party.
I had fun making this card with my Craft Robo but I cannot take the credit for design as it came from Pretty Paper Graphics - I also made one of the doctors too and I am using this for a card for his wife who equally loves The Doctor.
This is the side view - I have since decorated the inside but haven't had chance to photograph it.
Weekend is nearly here, been a long week for me so looking forward to a rest and hopefully some crafting
