Chocolate Valentine Card

Happy Monday,

Thank you all for visiting my blog it is lovely to get such a warm welcome back :), and welcome to Hazel my newest follower (waving madly).

Start of another week and I am off to walk Rosie dog and then we are off to work, did I ever mention that Rosie comes to work with me, she sits under my desk and hardly ever stirs, she is such a good dog.  Before I go I would like to show you my husband's valentine card (don't worry he doesn't visit my blog so he will not see it before Friday).

This is a large box card about 8 x 9 inches and I made it about as fancy as I could get away with for a man and not look too over the top - I used some digi paper which I have had for ages from Pink Petticoat - For Him - I used Cheery Lynn heart die, and two Memory Box die for the hearts at the top and the row of hearts at the bottom. There is a secret message in the Magnolia tag at the top.

When opened it reveals a Thornton's Chocolate heart - if anyone has seen these chocolate hearts you will realise how big this card is.  I made a box to hold the box which the chocolate comes in and decorated similar to the front - card is kept closed by a couple tiny magnets which I bought off ebay, they are really very, very strong but when sandwiched between card and paper they are just right for keeping boxes closed.

This is a side view showing the box I made to hold the chocolate.

This is the the chocolate heart box which started the whole card off

Hope you like my card and I hope David likes it too come Friday - he is taking me out for a scrummy meal and a bottle of my favourite drink (Prosecco), aren't I lucky :).

Hope you are all well and have a great Monday.

  2. Suzie what a beautiful card, I do like how you have made the chocolate heart gift in to the wonderful card, this is what I love doing - making something shop bought into a one off gift. You are lucky to be able to take Rosie to work with you, we have a lab and I am lucky I can walk him while walking the dogs at work, just off there I know I will be getting told all about their skiing holiday, saying that I have missed the girls they are more like grand daughters have looked after them since very new babies. Have a good day. Hazel x

  9. Wow! Oh! Wow! Your hubby will be absolutely delighted.
Clever girl making a stunning unique gift using a shop bought heart. Much nicer than handing over something that everyone else might receive.

  10. Hi! Again,
The Air Dry Clay is easy, peasy to use. My 7 year old Grandson makes lots and has great fun with it. It was after buying it for him for Christmas that got me hooked.
Thank you so much for becoming a follower, will do the same with you.
Don't know if you have realised Hazel (hazelsbasketsofjoy) is my sister and best friend

  27. Hello to everyone here, I'm here to share the unexpected miracles that happened to me three days ago, My Name is becky I live in United State, and I `m happily married to a lovely and caring husband, two children, a very big problem has occurred in the family seven months ago, between me and my husband so terrible that they took the case to court for divorce, he said that he never again to stay with me, and urging me not as he made the house and grabbed me and my children are passed through a lot of pain. I have tried all my possible means to get him back, after much begging, but all to no avail, and he confirmed that he made ??his decision, and he never wanted me to see her again. So one evening when I returned from work, I met an old friend of mine who asked my husband So I explained everything to her, so she told me that the only way I can get my husband back it is, visit a spell caster, because it really worked for them too so I never believed in spell, but I had no choice but to follow their advice. Then they gave me the email address of the caster, they visited. (drakugbespellhome@gmail.com}, so the next morning I sent an email to the address they gave me, and the spellcaster assured me that I get my husband back the next day, what an astonishing statement, I have never believed, so that he spoke to me and told me everything I need to do. then the next morning, so suddenly, that my husband, who has not called me for the past {7} seven months, gave me a call to tell me that he come back So Amazing! So that was how he came back on the same day, with lots of love and joy, and they apologized for their mistake, and for the pain she has me and my children. then from that day, our relationship was stronger than now, as it were before, with the help of a spell caster. So, I'm going to visit to advise there please the same site drakugbespellhome@gmailcom if you are in a state like this, or you have problems that bring on "your ex back. So many thanks to Dr. Ukaka return for my husband and brought back great joy, my family. (drakugbespellhome@gmail.com} Thank you .. you can contact him fore you own help 0r call +2347061824880
