Great News!!!!

Whoop, Whoop I have been chosen as full time DT member for Digital Tuesday Challenge, I have known for a couple of days but had to keep it quiet, but now I can shout it from the rooftops.  I am so grateful to Lora for giving me a chance as it is sooo hard to get on Design Team when you have not been crafting for long and don't have many followers.  Lora I hope I can make you and the other DT members proud.

Looking forward to my first challenge - watch this space:)

I AM SO EXCITED!!!

LOTV - Together Forever

Good Evening :)
Especially a good evening to my new followers and to everyone who takes the time to comment, it really does mean so much to me, I get emails and they go into a little folder and I get so excited when I see I have a new email :).

I have spent the whole weekend colouring and making cards so just need to get round to posting them too.

Today I have a heart easel card I have made for my DH for Valentines day, using LOTV Together Forever stamp.  The heart and paper (an old K&Co pad which I have had forever and never used before) were cut using my hardly used CraftRobo, I just could not get my head around the software and the fact it doesn't always cut great the first time and it has sat collecting dust I bought it last year to make wedding invites for our daughter's wedding but never really used it but at last it has all fallen into place so watch out for more cards using it.

I have trouble with hair but pleased how this turned out, as mine is blonde and hubbie's is strawberry blonde, so not bad matches. The gold stuff around the edges of the picture is Perfect Pearls, I should have shaken to bottle first... doh...

Picture of inside with my new Marianne dies, I did chalk the ivy, bird houses and birds but does not show up too well on piccie.  I am going to write on the red heart some suitably sloppy sentiment :).

Side view - coloured in Copics - sorry I did not make a note of the colours - note to self, please start writing the colours in the book I provided self with.

Ingredients
Paper - K & Company Isabella
Flowers - WOC
Heart punch - MS
Butterfly punch - MS
Pearls - stash
Ivy, birds, bird houses - various Marianne Dies

Saturated Canary - Windy

Good Evening
Today I have an easel birthday card for my very good friend Mona, we have know each other for more years than I care to count, someone you can always rely on when times are hard, even if we don't speak for a week or so she is always there for me and me for her. So I wanted this to be a special card, hope she likes it.

Her card did start off as a Lilli of Valley which I coloured in  (I am sure I will be using it soon) but decided to use this Saturated Canary digi image instead, I just cannot leave them alone, they are all so beautiful.  Coloured with Copics, glittered with Stickles - Doo Hickey flowers & tag, pearls and bling...

Saturated Canary - Whispy a Fairy

Good Evening,

Today I have a Saturated Canary digi image card called Whispy a Fairy, I just love Krista's images and I have quite a few I could colour them all day, but first I must apologise for the poor picture - it was a rush job to photograph it as I needed to give it to the recipient that day and I didn't have my camera, so I took it with my mobile.  It was for my work collegue Lizz, and I chose the colour of hair to match Lizz's bright pink hair and also made the card her favourite colour of purple.  This was also my first attempt at using my new set of Copics, and I loved them... but I need more colours... best not tell my hubbie as he thought the 144 he bought me was more than enough, but now I need Sketch too... deep breathe and slow down... LOL.

Ingredients
Whipsy the Fairy Digi
Flowers & Brad - WOC
Heart Punch - Martha Stewart
Ribbon - Stash
Charm - Ebay
Wings - Stardust Stickles
Papers - Bearly Mine Designs Digi

I would like to enter this into Saturated Canary Challenge - Dies or Punches

Hope you all have a great day

It Has Been a While

I cannot believe I have not posted for such a long time, Christmas was so busy as our family is huge, then New Year happened and our lovely children clubbed together and took us away to Centre Parcs as our Christmas pressie - a brilliant weekend was had by all.

Father Christmas visited and left me a full set of Copic Ciaos - wasn't I lucky, although I haven't had masses of time to play with them, but I have organised them into DJ case and a chart with all the colours.

Anyway I have managed to make a few cards so I need to get posting them.

The first of the cards is a Thank You Card I have made a few of these cards for the presents we received at Christmas.  Not a copic in sight... LOL.  The paper is a digi from Bearly Mine, the flowers are Marianne as is the lacey die at the bottom, the sentiment made in Photoshop.

Sorry about the picture, I normally try to take them at work in the light tent, but this is taken at home on my desk.  Hope you like the card, back in a couple of days with more cards.

Hugs
