Good Morning,
Ohhh.. I am feeling my age, I missed the start of the challenge for Anything Goes - I thought it was next week, how did I do that??? Where are the weeks going to??? So I apologise to my fellow DT members and here is my card, good job I was ready with it we are away this weekend for my hubbies 50th birthday so at least it was ready even if I had never loaded it to the site.
Our challenge this fortnight is Let's Not be Square and I needed to make an anniversary card for my lovely sister-in-law and her equally lovely husband. I chose my new stamp from Sarah Kay, A Little Bit of Country, yummy....
I used a Martha Stewart PATP, one of my pins, and some WOC flower for the front, but my favourite is yet to come.
Open the bow and it reveals the inside - I have to say this took me ages only because I could not decide what to do and what flowers to use. This is a new sort of card for me and I have no idea what you would call it.
This is a close up of the sentiment.
Left side showing the handmade flowers
More flowers
Close up showing the lovely image and one of my hand-made pins.
The papers are Nitwits - Puppy Love - flowers are Tonic punches and Memory Box.
Most of things on my card can be bought over at the Craft Den - so go and have a look around.
I also hope that you will join us on this fortnight's challenge over at Anything Goes and you really must drop by and see the amazing creations from my team mates.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges
http://wildorchidchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ - circles (spotty paper on the inside)
http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.co.uk/ - Make your own - pins and flowers
http://shoppingourstash.blogspot.co.uk/ = Something new - Sarah Kay stamp

ReplyDeleteAwww... I collected the Sarah Kay stickers when I was little, so I'm a sucker for them in a way I'm not with lots of the cutesy stuff. But whichever way you look at it, this is a brilliantly constructed card, with fabulous details on every fold!
