Hello
Sorry I have not been round your blogs or done my fair share of DT comments but I have not been well. I thought I had got away with all the bugs which has been going round but my beautiful, gorgeous granddaughter gave me tonsillitis - I struggled on for 12 days knowing I was ill and still going to work but finally went to the doctors on Monday and he confirmed it was tonsillitis and gave me penicillin, and it has taken until today for me to feel more or less normal. So once I have posted this I will have nosey round your blogs :).
I have a card to share with I made ages ago when my mother-in-law was in hospital for some minor treatment. It is a gorgeous digi call Nurse Honey from Sassy Studio Designs. It is a great image and makes a fanastic get well card.
I used glossy accents on the syringe and the red crosses, although it doesn't really show up on my rather dark picture, I think I must have been in a rush when I took it.
Hope you enjoy my card and that you all keeping well.
Off to catch up with you all and complete my DT commenting.

Digital Tuesday - Your favourite colour
Good Morning,
Today we have another Challenge at Digital Tuesday and our theme this week is Your favourite colour. We are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish, and I chose Penelope Puppy as I had a birthday card for a friend to make and she just loves my Cocker Spaniel, Rosie and I thought Penelope looks a lot like her.
I printed the image out a few time and decoupaged it, I coloured the image with Copics and used chalks for the background and then sprayed with Shine and Sparkle to set the chalk.
My card is a 'spring fold' card, which you can see on the full view, I tied a big purple bow, with a dangling heart charm and a yellow flower.
This view shows the spring fold.
This view shows the decoupage.
Now go and check out my other teamies great designs.
Thank for looking and any comments you leave me, I just love reading them all.

Digital Tuesday - Life is Peachy
Good Morning,
Second post of the day please don't forget to have a look at the other one for some Easter inspiration. This one is my DT card for Digital Tuesday and it was my turn to choose the challenge this week and my choice was 'Life is Peachy' - one of my favourite colours of the moment for cards which is Peach and this week we are sponsored by Spesch Stamp.
I have chosen to use a Wee Digi Stamp - Spring Blossom coloured with Copics - I just love this image and know I will be colouring her in again very soon.
I have used my CraftRobo again for the card base and paper mats, the roses were also cut out on the CraftRobo. The paper is from Cuddly Buddly. The tree die is a Memory Box and leaves are Marianne Designs.
Isn't she so pretty, great image for spring.
This is a close up fo the flowers and leaves.
I decorated the inside to match, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it.
Hope you like it - don't forget to check out my other teamies brilliant makes and I am looking forward to seeing what you create too.
Don't forget to have a look at my Easter inspiration which was also posted today.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges.

Anything Goes Challenge 63 - Get Ready for Easter
Good Morning,
This is my first post of two today, so please don't forget to have a look at the other one you will not be disppointed. Today we have another challenge at Anything Goes and our theme this fortnight is Get Ready for Easter - our design team have done some fantastic examples - please go and check them out.
I love Easter an extra two days off work.... whoooo.... So without further ado here is my DT card.
I have used Beautiful Tilda and colour her in Copics and sparkled with Stardust Stickles, there is a Spellbinders Nestie, Magnolia Dragonfly dusted with Glamour Dust, the egg die is a Memory Box, and the leaves are a Marianne Die you can get all these and more at the Craft Den The fence die cut I bought off ebay and the flowers are WOC.
What a lovely card you say, but wait is it a card or.....
another of my chocolate bar wrappers.... yum yum, the ribbon slides off to reveal a large bar of Galaxy. I used a Martha Stewart punch around the edges and the sentiment is computer generated.
Hope you enjoy my wrapper I found the tutorial on the Scor-Pal site and I have made 23 of these for the family instead of Easter Eggs... I have a huge family.
Please don't forget to drop over to Anything Goes Challenge and see our DT's work, I really hope to see your entries for this fortnight.
don't forget to have a look at my other post of today, a really pretty card.

Happy Mother's Day
Hello everyone
I hope all you Mothers out there are having a lovely day and being spoilt.
My mother's day started on Friday when my step daughter and baby Zara took me out for lunch and gave me some lovely flowers, card and a gift card for the Trafford Centre (she is seeing her own mum today of course).
Then yesterday my other step daughter came with her two children Ava (6) and Leo (2) and spent the day with us, she brought lunch with her and we bought a take away for dinner so no cooking. I spent the afternoon with Ava in the craft room - look what we made.
Ava coloured this in all by herself with my Copics and I guess her mum will have received it by now. She also went through all my stash and made a little pile of gems, pearls, flowers, ribbon, brads and then we covered a heart shaped box with pearls, brads and flowers to keep them in, wish I had taken a picture of it, it was so pretty. Ava does not live near us so we only see her once in a while - I so enjoyed my time with her yesterday.
Isn't she sweet, this was taken on a Princess Party day, that I bought for her and a friend last August. We went to Manchester and they had their hair styled and make-up and nails done, then they had a fashion shoot and were also shown how to walk down a cat walk. Such a good day out for a little girl, although when we took them to Pizza Express after we got some funny looks from parents as both little girls had make up on and fancy hair... LOL.
And not forgetting sweet Leo too, is adorable such a happy little chappie but into everything.
Anyway that is all from me now, off to wrap some presents for my MIL and then off to see her and then tonight I am being taken out by my five boys plus two of the girlfriends for dinner... lucky me.
Hugs

Easter Chocolate Card and Free Easter Paper
Hi everyone,
Look what I have been making!!! If you have read my profile you will know that I have two children from my first marriage and my DH has five, although I cannot call them children as they range from 21 to 26 and all except one have partners, plus 3 grandchildren and don't get me started on the nieces and nephews. So Easter and Christmas is very expensive in our house. I decided this year to get anyone under 10 years of age an easter egg and make a chocolate card for all the others. A bar of Galaxy is only £1.00 and making the card holder makes it special. I only have 23 chocolate cards to make... LOL, perhaps buying Easter Eggs is looking more appealing.
I have made a couple of variations, this was my first attempt but decided I just didn't have the time to colour in an image for everyone, so just went with design below for everyone else. Image is Molly Love from Stamp Fairy.
I also have a male variation and will post up when I have some pictures.
A view of the chocolate - I have not decorated the insides yet so nothing to show.
I bought a reel of goregous ribbon from Costco a few months ago thinking it would be great for spring cards.
I do have one special one that I am going to use for my DT post on Tuesday for Anything Goes Challenge Blog, so no peeking yet.
I found the template for the card on the Scor-pal site and just adapted it to the size of my chocolate bar.
Hope you enjoy this, and believe it or not I have 23 bars of chocolate in my craft room and not broken into one of them.... not yet anyway.
Hugs

But I have struggled to find a paper to go with it, you would not believe the hours I have spent looking, so in the end I made my own - this is my first attempt at making backing paper - don't know if would interest any of you looking for a pastel Easter paper - if you would like a copy of it, I have it in a square format or A4 paper size - drop me an email and I will email you a copy. If I knew how to upload the original size for people to download I would do. Maybe someone can tell me.

Peekaboo - Zara's First Birthday
Good Morning, .
Today I would like to share a card for my granddaughter's first birthday which is on 3rd April, I will be busy for the next few weeks as we are hosting her party as her mum's house is not big enough. My step-daughter phoned me yesterday to ask if 55 adults and 11 children were too many.... WHAT!!!!
I didn't have the heart to say no as she sounded so excited.... LOL I'm not too sure I am.
Anyhow here is the card - I saw this digi a while ago and thought hey yes this is the one for Zara's card. It is from Karen's Doodles and is called Peekaboo. This is a large 8" card - the paper is Nitwits, I have so many I cannot work out which one is was... sorry.
I printed the image 3 times on white card and also paper pieced the panties, the filly dress is smothered with stickles. The heart frame around the image I designed my self on the CraftRobo (getting better at it) and I decided it looked so plain so heat embossed with clear holographic embossing powder. It made all the difference and something I am going to be doing a lot more of. I also cut the name and name mat on the CraftRobo.
How can I say no to this little darling
Although at the moment I am not chuffed with her as she has passed on to me an eye infection and a raging sore throat, at least I know how she felt when I looked after her on Tuesday.
Close up of Peekaboo.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Digital Tuesday - Think Spring
Mornin'
Today is Tuesday so it must be another challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week we are sponsored by Milk Coffee - I had not heard of them before but wow they have some gorgeous digital stamps. I chose Charlotte with Butterfly and I think you will agree it is a lovely image. Our theme this week is Think Spring.
Papers are First Edition Spring Drop and are gorgeous, the dies are Memory Box, Butterflies are Martha Stewart.
The butterfly came with Charlotte, but I decided to detach from image and use separately, coloured and glittered with stickles.
Please drop over to Digital Tuesday and see the other fantastic creations my teamies have made.

Flower Pot Card - Happy Mother's Day
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for all the lovely messages you leave me and also a big hello to my new followers. If you do drop by leave me a message and then I can come and visit you :).
This evening I have a super card I made for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. It is a flower pot card, I had decided ages ago I wanted to make one for her. Believe it or not the colour scheme of the card is based on the ribbon, I was playing around the other night and tied this triple loop bow and I wanted to use it for something, and I thought the flower pot card would be ideal. The basis of this card is really easy to do but I spent ages decided on what type of flowers to put on the top.
I tried mulberry flowers at first but they didn't look right so decided to make my own paper flowers. The paper for the flowers is from Cuddly Buddly - Fairy Fun Peach, I used four of the designs printed on A4 sheets I then cut out 3 different size flowers (6 petal flower) and layered these and on top placed a medium sized rolled flower with a pearl in the centre. The flowers were all cut on my CraftRobo. There is a small Doohickey Dragonfly in the centre embelished with pearls.
These rolled flowers were so easy to do and such fun, I did ink up the edges on a couple but didn't like the effect for this design so I have kept them for another project.
The ribbon on the top is used to pull out the card, the sentiment was done on the computer and plenty of space for us to write something appropriate to Mum.
Side view - you can just see the little stand I made (tent fold) to allow the card to stand up.
All I need to do now is make a little box :).
Hope you like it - I love it I think it is probably one of my favour cards and I am going to enter it into the following competitions.
Pollycraft Monday # 130 = Spring Has Sprung
The Pink Elephant # TBE138 = Lets See Those Layers (must have at least 3 layers)

Anything Goes Challenge - Boyz to Men
Mornin'
Second post of the day, and I have my DT card for Anything Goes Challenge and our challenge this fortnight is Boyz to Men (Just for the Boys). We had some fantastic entries for our last challenge drop over to the site to see the winners they were amazing.
Three of my step sons have birthdays in January and February so I have busy making them cards, I always find it difficult to do male cards but yet again Kenny K came to the rescue.
This is the lovely Carmen Electrafying coloured with Copics, this is the second of my sexy boy's cards, there is still another one to come.
Carmen's boots and bikini bottoms are covered with Glossy Accents to make them look like wet look fabric. I also covered the glasses with Glossy Accents.
Hope you will join in with our challenge this fortnight and don't forget to pop over to the Anything Goes Challenge Blog and see the other cards from my teamies, there are some beauties there this fortnight.

Digital Tuesday Challenge - Sketch
Hiya Everyone
It is Tuesday so it can only mean another challenge over at Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog and this week we are sponsored by Doodle Pantry and we have a sketch from the lovely Natascha. I chose a lovely Cuddly Bear digi image - isn't he so sweet.
I thought this image would make a great Get Well card, always a good card to have handy as there is never the time to make one when it is needed. I also decided I will add a couple of pink embelishments if I give it to a female or will leave it plain for a male.
Pop over to Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog and check out the fantastic creations my teamies have made and also check out the sketch below to base your cards on.
I hope to visit your blog to see your designs.

Kenny K - Mae Western
Morning Everyone
Mmmm.... Sunday extra 30 minutes in bed, walk the dog then back for a nice cooked breakfast.
Hope you are all having a great weekend.
This morning I have a card I made a couple of weeks ago for my step son's 21st birthday.
I have used Kenny K's Mae Western, you can always trust Kenny for some great images for male cards. She was a pleasure to colour in. I was struggling to find what paper to use as a background then I remembered the red glitter paper which I bought for wrapping Christmas presents and never used, I have since used it a few times for hearts.

Copic Storage
Good Evening,
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and great Saturday evening.
I just wanted to show you my new copic storage, which came today, I only ordered it on Wednesday and didn't expect it to arrive for ages as they are all hand made by Vicky's husband Steve, so I was totally gobsmacked at this brilliant service. Thanks Vicky and Steve :)
I used to keep them in a wooden box, but my collection has outgrown that, so then I moved aluminium DJ cd case, but didn't like that so tried zip up storage folders but time consuming in putting them back, I really need a portable system as we have a caravan which we go to every other weekend, I can just tip the box on its back and then put in the car boot - perfect.
This is the wooden drawers which I used to use, but it only holds 75 pens so now going on ebay, I do love this but it is taking up room and not needed anymore.
