Today I would like to share a card for my granddaughter's first birthday which is on 3rd April, I will be busy for the next few weeks as we are hosting her party as her mum's house is not big enough. My step-daughter phoned me yesterday to ask if 55 adults and 11 children were too many.... WHAT!!!!
I didn't have the heart to say no as she sounded so excited.... LOL I'm not too sure I am.
Anyhow here is the card - I saw this digi a while ago and thought hey yes this is the one for Zara's card. It is from Karen's Doodles and is called Peekaboo. This is a large 8" card - the paper is Nitwits, I have so many I cannot work out which one is was... sorry.
I printed the image 3 times on white card and also paper pieced the panties, the filly dress is smothered with stickles. The heart frame around the image I designed my self on the CraftRobo (getting better at it) and I decided it looked so plain so heat embossed with clear holographic embossing powder. It made all the difference and something I am going to be doing a lot more of. I also cut the name and name mat on the CraftRobo.
How can I say no to this little darling
Although at the moment I am not chuffed with her as she has passed on to me an eye infection and a raging sore throat, at least I know how she felt when I looked after her on Tuesday.
Close up of Peekaboo.

Aw Suzie this is stunning it reminds me of the frilly knickers my daughter used to wear over her nappies (a long time ago). Love the heart mat you have made - how clever are you! and what a brilliant idea embossing it with holographic powder!! You should do what my DIL did for my grandson's first birthday as they live in a small flat in London - we all went to the park and set it up there!! We were lucky it was in October and it was a really nice warm day. Your grand daughter is so gorgeous - do you think she would like to meet my grandson lol?? Have a fab weekend hugs Susan xx
