Kenny K - Mae Western

Good Evening,
I don't seem to have posted a card which was not a DT card for ages, I have been so bogged down with work and never seem to have enough time for anything anymore.  I resigned from a DT this week as I was stressing out trying to make the cards, I was making cards I no longer wanted to make or needed with images I didn't like and have no use for.  I will never give them to anyone and they are not worth selling.  Lesson learned from now on I am only making cards with someone in mind or feel I can sell on eBay.  Rant over.

So today I have a card I made for my son's 27th birthday which was yesterday, it is a Kenny K image, I do know some of you don't like these 'adult' images but I think they make super male cards and I have coloured so many of them.  Mae's hair looks like Kevin's girlfriend, Jess only Jess is far prettier...

Mae is coloured in Copics are there is some glitter on her bikini top and boots.  The black frame was cut on my CraftRobo using a free cutting file from Birds Cards.  If you have a cutting machine you need to visit this girl's website she has so many amazing cutting files and all free, she is so generous with her time.

Hope you like this card and that there aren't too many tut, tuts.

  2. Hi Suzie
This is so much fun and she is coloured so well that she looks as though she is going to pop right out of the card! Brilliant work.
I so know where you are coming from. When art becomes a chore it isn't worth doing, Ive learnt that.
Better two cards you have loved than six you have toiled over.

    1. Thanks Christine, do you know what, this is pre-colouring class, I haven't had time to colour in any images since the class, how awful is that, I have been so busy at work and finishing off half finished cards. Hoping for a colouring weekend xx

  9. Hi Jenny. I've just become a follower after seeing your blog when I nominated Jenny for the Leibster Blog Award.
I went to the LOTV Saturday advanced class too. I'm sorry but I don't recognise you from your photo. Mind you I think I was concentrating so hard I completely zoned out to everything else around. It was a great day and I bought so many stamps I didn't even realized I needed!

  20. I can certainly relate to your DT experience. I had the exact same experience. I resigned from all my DT's too except for DTC. It was the only team where I could choose to use an image I wanted and make a card that fit my needs.
