Today we have a new challenge at Anything Goes and our challenge this fortnight is Polka Dot Birthday and I made an easel drawer card for my niece's 16th birthday.
I chose Saturated Canary - Double Take as I thought she looked just like Sally. I love Saturated Canary images they are always so pretty and this one is no exception.
A side view. The papers are digi from Whimsy Stamps, they are so pretty I had planned to add lace and doilies but the paper just did not need it.
I made frames with the Floral Oval Spellbinders dies, rather than layering as I normally do.
This view shows the inside of the box, it shows the polka dots on the inside and the side of the drawer which were needed for the challenge.
Most of the things I used can be bought at the Craft Den
Ingredients
Image - Saturated Canary - Double Take - coloured with copics
Papers - Magnolia Spring Blossom - Whimsey Stamps
Dies - Floral Ovals - Spellbinders
Dies - Heart Border - Memory Box
Flowers - WOC
Stick Pin - my own design
Please drop over to Anything Goes Challenge Blog to see what my other team mates created, you will not be disappointed there are some great creations this fortnight.

ReplyDeleteHi Suzie ,thank you so much for visiting and your sweet comment, Ref the peacock, he comes from a nearby stately home ( no one famous ) he and his several, pea-hen wifelets, 3 at last count, sit on my front step most of the day , unless it rains that is. He often flies onto the roof or the flat garage roof and has a nap. We also have a shed in the back garden and he sits on the top and drapes his tail down the side of the shed. My hubby and I love them, but they can leave a few (pooh parcels) behind , their load calls don't bother us , but the neighbours think they are too noisy. We also have squirrels who sit outside the kitchen door. Sadly we are only renting here and our term is up in October. I have to say again how lovely your cards are, I am so glad I saw your candy advertised on Susans blog and popped over to see who you were.I have been looking for inspiration , I'm so amazed at the fabulous creations everyone makes, its wonderful to see new ideas for crafting. I have changed my whole style of crafting since I started blogging in February. I am just having a super time . Take care Hugs Elaine
