Good Morning Peeps,
Hope you all had a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend, I am back now from Wales, we had a lovely few days, one of our sons came down with his girlfriend to launch his boat for the season and stayed over night and cooked us a lovely meal, and on Sunday we went out with some of our 'neighbours' for a meal, so the caravan season has started again for another year. Fortunately I made this week's card for Digital Tuesday before I left. Please drop over to the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog to see the other fantastic designs.
Our theme this week is Birthdays and we are sponsored by Fred She Said who has given us a whopping $20 gift certificate for prize - how generous is that??
So here is my card, it is for a family friend who is in her 70s and I know she would not really appreciate cartoon type of drawings, so I instead used some lovely papers from Fred She Said and computer generated the sentiment.
Sorry about the lighting for the picture it was such a dark day and no matter what I did I could not get a decent picture.
I used my Spellbinder heart die for the circle, the flowers are Wild Orchid Craft, ribbon, butterfly charm and pearl hearts are from my stash. Butterfly is a MS punch and the little hearts were left overs from the Spellbinder die.
I also decorated the inside to match but with a contrasting paper.
Ah well - back to work today.... :(. Please don't forget to drop over to see my other teamies brilliant designs - and also enter the challenge if you have a suitable card - Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog
Hugs
