I have been meaning to get around to staring a blog after seeing all the wonderful blogs that there are around and I want to showcase my cards and get some feedback. I have only just started and just completed my 3rd card which is for my sister's 70th Birthday tomorrow, I cannot wait to give it to her.
Unfortunately she has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer and tomorrow besides her birthday she is also going for a CAT scan. I will keep my fingers crossed that the news will not be all bad and they can operate.

I am also new at card making. It is fun but it is not as easy as it looks. I have been a seamtress since I was a teenager but never did much in the way of paper crafts. Starting something new in my old age. I hope you will keep us posted on your sister. Ps: I was born and raised a Thompson, that is what initially drew me to your blog. from Kylies kraft room.

Thanks so much Mary, we sound very alike - I used to make all my own clothes and thought paper crafts were boring - how wrong could I be. We are still waiting news on my sister, to make sure it has not spread. Fingers crossed and thank you for your prayers and blessings.
